For today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
Luke 2:11 (NASB)
What does Christmas mean to you? I mean really? There is more to it than the exchange of presents. Much more than Christmas dinner.
On the very first Christmas, about two thousand years ago, the Savior of the world, Jesus who is Christ the Lord was born.
What do you want for Christmas this year? Can you say from your heart, “Lord, all I want for Christmas is you”?
As we celebrate Christmas this year, take a moment to ponder and ask yourself: “Is Christ my Lord and Savior”? If He isn’t, you can invite Him into your heart today. What an incredible opportunity to have the Lord of Christmas in your life? Ask Jesus into your heart today. Don’t delay. Do it now. Tomorrow may be too late. How do you invite Him into your heart? Well, lets borrow a few words from Oh Holy Night: “fall on your knees”, acknowledge that you are a sinner, say you know that you are a sinner, you believe that Jesus died for you and was raised up for your justification, and ask ask Jesus to come into your life to transform you.
All in all, let us remember that Christmas is all about Jesus Christ. It’s Christmas! His mass! Got it? Therefore let us endeavour to put Christ back into Christmas.
